The New Brunswick Securities Commission has the power to recognize an exchange or jurisdiction for various purposes under the Act.

The Act permits certain delegations of power or duties. For example, the New Brunswick Securities Commission may delegate duties to the Executive Director or the Executive Director may delegate duties to a staff member.
